Slightly but not too much. Depends what wat games tho, some games you may feel it, some none.

Well....I had a Mac so I'm saving up for a $500 pc

Mac gpu: AMD Radeon HD 6750M graphics processor with 512MB of GDDR5 memory

Maybe, may be try stepping up the cpu  a bit to at leát match the 285

no it won't. Especially if you overclock. People tend to overhype the whole bottlenecking thing, Jayztwocents made a good video on it, ran a low end APU with something like a 780 and saw only minimal FPS drops compared to an i7.

the 860k is pretty much the same as an fx4300 (ok steamroller vs piledriver but whos keeping track) the 6300 is a  much more powerful cpu especially when overclocked,

that boards nice but fm2+ is hardly a platform to invest allot in a board in, the msi 970 gaming while more expensive is a better board IMHO.

Right, not a low end APU but overall a rather low-end CPU and still less powerful than a 6300.

I live in Australia so I hope most of stores like outlet pc and Super Bizz ship to Australia. I know new egg does. If it dosent I'll just buy all the parts from Amazon. I know it's $500 us so it's like $650 AU which sucks and I hope the rates go higher.

that mobo is a trash mobo the VRMs will cook itself before your CPU overheats

 

and the 400W PSU is cutting too close

Agree though I've bought and used 3x msi 970 gaming boards in 3 separate builds in the last few months and am awestruck at what they offer, thankfully they aren't "a ton of money" so it still holds true.

8+2 vrm is actually a little overkill for a 6300, you can overclock them on a cheapo 4+1, the msi gaming if its around the same price might be a "nicer" bet.

-edit, nevermind its a bit more expensive (not surprised) ud3p is a beastly board.

Edit: if you find a deal on the memory you can take it down to 500.

Also 500W EVGA PSU will shave a few bucks off, but I don't think It's worth it. $10 aren't that much.

you will be surprised

 

most games will perfer Intel CPU because the Intel CPU has way better IPC or Instructions Per Clock than the AMD FX

 

and the i3 has Hypertreading so it functions like a Quad Core

 

only some games like BF4 will the FX keep up with the Intel I3

 

but the rest of the game will fail flat when you compare the AMD to the Intel
