Edit: if you find a deal on the memory you can take it down to 500.

Also 500W EVGA PSU will shave a few bucks off, but I don't think It's worth it. $10 aren't that much.

Can this run most games in 1080p high settings?

you will be surprised

most games will perfer Intel CPU because the Intel CPU has way better IPC or Instructions Per Clock than the AMD FX

and the i3 has Hypertreading so it functions like a Quad Core

only some games like BF4 will the FX keep up with the Intel I3

but the rest of the game will fail flat when you compare the AMD to the Intel

What he said ^

Plus if you need USB 3.0 You can check this out http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asrock-motherboard-h81mhds

So your build is better. I didn't make this build so don't blame me

Not blaming anyone anything. Sorry if it sounded harsh. It's just that GPU=Gaming.

I'd stick with my build and if you need the USB 3.0, the second board I linked.

Thx. I'm searching up if the i3 4150 vs fx6300 but it seems even and I'm watching a video on it now and read the comments

Can you overclock the Intel core i3.

You technically can but it is only limited to bclk overclocking which means that you can only get a 100 MHz overclock. In terms of gaming an i3 is going to be better than the fx 6300 while also offering an upgrade path. Also don't trust YouTube comments as a source.

The best thing you get with the i3 is the upgrade path. If in a few months you decide you're not satisfied with the performance and want a monster ass GPU, you can get an i5, which will destroy all games.

With the fx-6300 your only path is the fx 8230 which has only slightly better single thread performance as the 6300, so it won't be that big of an upgrade.

Also there's the heat output with the FX series, which isn't that big of a deal but it's still better to run cool.

As david cassar said, the FX isn't as good for gaming. If you're watching some synthetic benchmarks it will win, but in real life gaming - it won't.
