Amazing deal - worth?

Hi all,

 

So on the British version of Craigslist (Gumtree), a closing business is getting rid of their monitors, the monitors in question are 1080p, 5ms. These are going for £30 a piece. I am only in need of 1 monitor, but I was considering buying 2. I was even considering buying 3, but I reckon that my GTX 960 can't handle 5760 x 1080.

A 960 definitely could handle one 1080p, maybe 2 but certainly not at max settings in games.

 

Pick up 2, why not?

you can run that perfectly if you aren't gaming on all 3. 1 monitor gaming with like a forum open on one and a video on another is fine.

Or even better, buy a ton, a keep some for when you can upgrade your rig, and sell the rest.

2 is by far a definite. If I were to only buy 1 I could finish off my RAM (I only have 4GB), but 2 seems better

Definitely this; down the line, RAM is much easier to upgrade than finding another deal on a monitor like this.

Definitely this; down the line, RAM is much easier to upgrade than finding another deal on a monitor like this.

Damn, good game. You should get three though. £90 and on some easier-to-run games you could do surround.

Two is so much better than one, you can have your games on one playing and other important stuff such as hardware monitors, skype or teamspeak on the other, two is the way to go in my book.

Haha, fair enough. I probably wouldn't have jumped on it anyway unless it was really close to me (I live in Marchmont, glorious Meadows!).
