Is this a virus?

Just visited an astronomy site about amateur telescopes. Activated a java plugin window that was "Blocked" and this window opened and WILL NOT CLOSE.

Seriously worried about this...

 

P.S. I don't use Anti-viruses.

You should have at least MSE enabled... and I don't think that java has it's own popup window.

First step, enable MSE. Do it. Just do it. 

Second step, read before you click next next next, because that is how you got it. 

Third step, run:
ADWCleaner
Adware Removal Tool
Combofix

Roguekiller

and HitmanPro

 

Let me know if there are still issues after that, and reset all your browsers.

yea I would get an anti virus just saying..... just because you live in a good neighborhood doesn't mean you don't need to lock your doors anymore...

Actually, I got it from clicking to run a java plugin in-browser.
