Studdering in Windows

sperkowsky

Ok so I have had this issue for a while but it only seems to be getting worse.

For note Im currently running windows 10 but had the same issues in windows 8.1 pro.

I updated all my motherboard drivers but I still constantly get freezes and it wont resume untill waiting around 30 seconds.

I see you have a GTX 780, what drivers are you on? And did you happen to have an AMD GPU before it, and didn't reinstall Windows? (Doubt this as you switched OS's) I know when I went from my HD7770 to my 970, I had a fuckton of issues with stuttering, and reinstalled Windows...

I know driver 347.25 is terrible and messes any GPU up... Even my 650ti, anyway, if you're not on 347.09 try that, I haven't tried 347.52 after the issues I saw from 347.25.

I've a feeling it's your Hard Drive, Also, troubleshoot the SSD if that is what windows is installed on.

(I know this sounds crazy, but it could even be your monitor)

( I DID RESEARCH)

Do Diagnostics on your hard drive.

This is a common problem with AMD GPUs and Processors.

Update GPU drivers.

try a different set of GPU drivers, and make sure that you install all windows updates after changing your drivers

select clean install when installing nvidia drivers

Well, you are using Windows 10, which isn't released yet ._.

Try re-installing with a new version.
