(the only thing that makes me not to buy the ddr4 pc is that in the ddr3 pc i can have 32gb of ram instead of 16 in the same price)

What will the PC be used for? Just gaming? Or?

 

If that's the case, then I could really argue against a X99-based system. And I'd take the money saved to get a SSD with a higher capacity.

holy that mobo. id get a cheaper one and use that money to double my ssd's size.

You are spending a crapload, and you get a 5820K?  Grab the 5390K so you have 40 PCI-E lanes for dual GPUs... waste money properly man!

False. A 5820k is good enough for a three-way SLI config. It will run at 8x8x8 (uses 24 lanes).

yeah it is better obviously as it will run the first two cards on a full 16x lane and the last at 8x. No idea how big and noticable the difference would really be but in theory all 8x is worse.

It doesn't make a huge lot of difference if you look at benchmarks. In fact the difference between PCI-E 2.0 and PCI-E 3.0 is very small.

Drop the 32GB unless you're video/photo editing.
