So whats a good fast M.2. SSD? Preferably under 200 USD (Willing to go up to 250), above 200 GB if possible.

Will be a boot drive/ Game storage.

I was considering this Plextor PX-G256M6e

well m8, it depends, m.2 can run on both PCI lanes or SATA lanes, the pci lane is 10Gb/s while the sata is limited to SATA III 6b/s

you might look at this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820147365&cm_re=m.2_ssd-_-20-147-365-_-Product

and think it is expensive, but it is expensive because it uses pci lanes

and then you might look at this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820148955&cm_re=m.2_ssd-_-20-148-955-_-Product

and go "holy shit its very cheap!!!" that one uses SATA rather than PCI lanes

so you make the choice, the advantage of SATA M.2 drivevs is that you dont need a SATA power cable, or to screw it into a drive bay

How about the MSI X99 SLI Plus? Through PCI-E?
