Fast M.2 SSD

So whats a good fast M.2. SSD? Preferably under 200 USD (Willing to go up to 250), above 200 GB if possible.

 

Will be a boot drive/ Game storage.

My Brother just got a Transcend untit for his laptop, and it's great!

 

Otherwise, Samsung has an evo in m.2 format as well that will do fine.

well m8, it depends, m.2 can run on both PCI lanes or SATA lanes, the pci lane is 10Gb/s while the sata is limited to SATA III 6b/s

With a MSI Z97 Gaming 5, would it support the PCI one.

yea that mobo supports both PCI and SATA though the m.2 port
