Philips Fidelio X1 or V-Moda LP2

Christianm

Hi everyone. need some suggestion. I've made up my mind for one of these, can anyone guide me which one of these is best for heavy metal genres? I gonna feed them with sound blaster Z. I also watch movies and casual gaming. open back is not a problem for me.

X1 cost $187

LP2 cost $140

both from Amazon in (used like new)

should i save money and get LP2 or what's the good reason to get X1.

or please suggest any other cans, except M50(x), Senn Momentums.

thank you

This, I have LP(not 3, same frame)

And they are not comfortable. Ear cups not deep or wide enough

The Philips L1 is very cheap at Amazon I wonder how's L1 against V Moda LP2 (I know X1 is much better than L1) but considering the price point. L1 is 26 Ohms so how it's gonna perform with SBZ?
