Possibly Dumb Question About Airflow

Hey guys, I'm getting a new case soon, and I have a question that I'm pretty sure I know the answer to, but just want confirmation on.

I have an H100i; if I mount this in the front of the case, and have one exhaust fan in the back, will it work like any other fan and keep the system cool, or is it not as efficient since it's meant to cool the water, not blow air?

In other words, will an H100i work well as a front-mounted fan for a computer that gets pretty warm in the current, stuffy case? Or should I get a case that supports top mounting and then put two regular fans in the front?

It's best to have fans on radiators as exhaust. When the liquid heats up, the fans will be blowing hot air into the case. When the system isn't under load, it will work fine, but under load, it will increase the temps in the case.

Best way is to have to radiator in the top of the case as exhaust, with two fans in the front as intake and one at the rear as either exhaust, or intake to bring more fresh air to the radiator.

Actually no. The air will pick up heat from the radiator (by design, that's how a liquid cooler works) and will return hot air into the case.

True, but the heat is negligible.

My rad as only intake raised GPU temp by 1-2 degrees

Yeah I was thinking, the air coming out of the rad is hardly even warm.

Plus I'm using an i5-4440, so I'm not exactly running a massive overclock on a 4960 :P

Yeah, my testing confirms that.

People just blindly say to not without doing any testing or looking at graphs
