Hey guys!

I recently bought an m65 rgb and am loving it. Fantastic build quality and the extra buttons over my old G100s are nice.

But I have been finding the Corsair Utility Engine software a bit less then intuitive. Basically I want to map the sniper button to be used as a refresh button in Chrome

but I want it to revert to its normal functionality for everything else. Can someone please tell me how to map keys per program in this software.

Thanks in advance.

I used a M60 for about a year before the switch gave out, I barely remember the software UI. Can't really help here sorry, but you just gave a me a idea. How come I never though about using the middle button as a refresh button?! Time to change some settings on my G500s.

The software is really horrible. I know loads of people were having issues with it when stetting up their Corsair RGB Keyboards. But ya I was thinking it would be nice to have a refresh button on my mouse instead of having to right click ---> click refresh.

Bind the button to F5? That could work.

I could do that but I like having the functionality of the sniper button dropping my DPI to 400 or whatever well held when not using my browser. If I bound it to F5 it would remove that functionality.

Bummer... To be honest I never used the sniper button when I was using the mouse. It was more or less just a gimmick to me, sniping players in battlefield is as easy as clicking x to close a window once you get enough practice.

The only times I've ever really used the sniper button was when I had to make really precise small movements in Photoshop.

To be fair I will probably never use it either but I like just messing around with it. I will wait and see if anyone else knows of a solution for per program customization in the Corsair software if not whatever.

I seem to recall @TheProfosist saying every time i would bind the sniper button it would do the bind and still be the sniper button lol

Really that seems weird. It wouldn't surprise me though, this software is terrible. Not as bad as Corsair Link but its up there.

What kind of bad experiences have you had with it? My first impressions so far are that it s a great mouse and I really like it.

Basically its all software. everything is harder to do than other brands. Also using the profile auto switching ive had it switch when the game launches but them once your in the game for a bit itll switch back to the default profile.

The Logitech software was pretty nice I will probably just switch to using that for everything other than adjusting the RGBs.
