OK i need some help deciding

I have about $200 (cad). i need a phone, motherboard, and thermal paste.

 

i dont start working until may, at which point I will make a fair bit of money, and deffinitly be able to get what i want.

however the asus zenfone comes out i march, and i really need a phone to replace my nexus s and ipod 5 combo. But when i am looking at buying a motherboard i think that i should cheap out and low ball to try and have money to afford the phone, but no matter what i do i wont be able to save enough to get the phone at launch

 

so what im saying is, is should i cheap out to try and afford the phone, even though i wont be able to, or to just spend the money i have and get a good motherboard and just wait until may to get the zenfone, or not get my motherboard/thermal paste until may.

 

thoughts, this is kinda been wrecking my brain recently.

Well your Dell is a Z87, so I would get the phone, and then upgrade to a Z97S Krait Edition once you get money.

Save your money and keep your current motherboard, NT-H1 is like $10 a tube and get a Moto G or a used Moto X? What's really wrong with your motherboard that is unbearable?

Thermal paste? Use Nutella.

 

IMO I would go for the phone. Your current MOBO is fine (Atleast until you can afford a new one. I would never ever lowball on the piece that holds your whole system together).

 

As @TheSLSAMG said, get a Moto G or something. I think you can get one in Canada for like ~175$ used. Iunno. the Moto G 2 is 250$.

it wont lit me instal windows on it, its matx in my atx case, its green, its already failed once, its terrible

and im getting the zenfone 2 cause it slightly more than the moto g and better in almost everyway

Mayonnaise and some other condiments work too (Temporarily, like Nutella. You might also get ants in your PC.)

In that case, get your 280X fixed and get a new motherboard.

yeah, its at gigabyte for rma atm and then it is going to take a week or so to get back to me

and i only really use the nexus s for texting and calls, and use my ipod 5 for games and everything else, but i want to have one good device

The moto G goes for around (locked in service provider being rodgers, in canada)is around $175 for the none LTE/Micro SD version and $230 for the LTE/microsd expansion version.

 

I got the LTE verison and a 16gb Micro SD card for $7 on NCIX. I can hold like 2 times the size of my music library so im happy

nah, im getting the zenfone 2, because i am interested in the intel prosecer and the zenfone fixes the ram, and resolution issues i have on the moto g
