Question about 3D rendering.

Does it require more GPU horse power than CPU? Because i'm worried that my current A10-7850K won't be enough for rendering 3D Aerospace stuff, and 3D anatomy for my nursing major.

Yes, rendering is usually GPU-accelerated. Any CPU/GPU can render, its just a matter of how long it takes.
