When I enter my product key it says it isn't valid.

I just did a reinstall today.

Ps I can't call Microsoft at the moment they are closed.

double check that your cd key is typed correctly, ive made that mistake before, otherwise youll have to wait and call microsoft when their open again

how did you obtain this key? was it an online purchase or store bought? either way as long as its a legitimately purchased key then you should be ok downside is youll have to wait till you can call microsoft as there isnt much you can do otherwise

It was online through the Microsoft store.

Last time through they had troble with the legit ness of my cd cause my dad brought it for use with his key so when they asked for the cd I'd it took like an hour to explain it too them.

well sadly there's nothing any one of us can do, if your typing the key properly then all you can do is call them and try and get it figured out

They have an automated system you can also call, It might be able to help also. That's how I activated my key after typing it it. Maybe it might say it is invalid or already in use, some extra information is nice.
