Assassins Creed Unity

Does anybody know how AC: Unity is running atm? Please don't respond unless you've actually played it in the last week or so (I heard some of the initial launch issues have been sorted). Also, how would it run on my rig? i7 4790k, 16GB RAM, 2x R9 280x's in crossfire. Thanks.

If you have OC'd your i7, then you should be fine on medium to high settings. One of my mates has an i7 4770k & GTX970, and he can barely run it maxed out.

Will run just fine, just play it with FXAA cuz the other filters look the same/worse and will just make it run like shit.

I don't defend them ethier, but people tend to spread wrong information all the time, just wanted to show you those img and tell you that you won't have any trouble.

I have two GTX 970 g1 in sli. I have a 4k monitor and i gotta say, this game after all the patches is more playable however it is still in a bad shape. If I have the textures and high and TXAA on the game averages around 40-50fps without stutters.

For me ACU plays fine, even stable on Co-op missions the only problem I have is losing connection to the Unity companion app but then fixes it self  in a minute or two.

It plays great for me, all settings maxed with FXAA (i7-4790k@4.4Ghz,GTX970 FTW). I don't really know how many fps I'm getting, but I'm enjoying it very much.

I5 2400, 8GB RAM, 970, win 8.1 with the latest drivers, @1440p, everything maxed out with shadows set to high and FXAA I get up to 50fps. Used to be up to 30fps, before that up to 20 fps with a 7950.

 

I'm playing through it again. Very relaxed play through with all HUD elements off. NPC's are still glitchy but overall the difference is huge compared to the way it played at launch.

The bad performance was kinda blown out of performance. It wasn't well optimized but even before any patches I was still running it just fine with my setup. Game is extremely fun if you can look past a few glitches. I don't regret getting it at all.
