Hey guys , i'm waiting for my current rig to be sold so i can build a new one , what do you guys think about it so far?

Looks good.

What are the prices for GTX 970? I would go that way if it is a lot cheaper.

the 290x is cheaper then the 970 is performs better and has 4gb of VRAM

I'm a sucker for silence ..so i had been eyeing the 240M ever since Linus reviewd it :P

 

Looks good.

What are the prices for GTX 970? I would go that way if it is a lot cheaper.

 Should be about the same price , but i'd rather wait for the 3xx series than get a 970 , gaming at 1440p you see :P

Unless you're planning on Crossfire down the road, I'd get a less powerful PSU.

I know i went a bit overkill with the PSU  , i've never had an SLI\CF mobo , so i'd like to have the option ( now that i can afford it) down the line :)

Also, the motherboard is fine. I don't know what the deal is with people saying no one should buy expensive motherboards - we spend just as much, if not more on GPU's.

If by krait you mean the MSI one , no not really , but Asus is top notch when it gets down to motherboards :P

Are you planning on overclocking? If not you could probably skip out on the water cooler.

Tell that to my previous asus motherboard that had a faulty ethernet card and didnt boot with 4 sticks of ram ;/

Actually i am , that's the reason i got the AIO and an unlocked CPU ^_^

Darn , that's a bummer , but i'd like to keep the cost of the mobo under 150€.

Asus motherboards are no better then all the other good brands like MSI and Gigabyte....

 

For a great board with similar look and just as good performance and and reliability, check out the MSI Z97 Gaming 5

Since i mitigated some of the cost of the mobo to a 16GB of ram , would you say that my choice of mobo is a bad one?
