On another forum I visit (gaming forum) people were talking about the e

850 evo and saying things like "Don't get TLC NAND SSD's (840 and 850 EVO) right now that have huge performance issues when some files aren't accessed regularly, better get MLC NAND SSD's like the Crucial M100 and Samsung 850 Pro."

Is this true?

The 850 EVO does not use TLC.... It uses 3D V-NAND

There is a fix for that on the 840 EVO drives. The issue does not effect any other drive currently.

Thanks for the info guys! Much appreciated. Think I'll stick with the 850 evo, as it's only like $9 more then the mx100 right now .
