Go to solution Solved by ProKoN,

watch this video, it may help you understand how 4709ks work with stress testing programs

I am  going to overclocking my Intel i7 7490k and was using prime95 on the maximum temp stress test and was getting about 90c all of this is with stock everything. The cooler i am using is a H110. when i do the test i am running my fans and pump full speed to try and cool it best. what i want to know is is there something wrong with my cooler or is it just the stress test i am using?

Use AIDA64 and see if it still recurs

@Troll_Soda Don't use Prime95 with haswell. Also haswell is not exactly known for great temps (shitty thermal paste between chip and IHS)
