Does anybody know when laptops will start using the 960m and what its expected performance will be.

Not sure, I've been discussing this with my friend for a while, my guess is, it's something between 860m and 870m(965m). Maybe it's the same as 750 ti. 965m = 870m > 750 ti > 860m, according to the benchmark anyway.

860M's bang for buck lies more in its overclockability I think... the 960M is likely going to be lower than the 965M indeed though. I'd quicker say the 965M is better bang for buck, as the 970M is fairly cheap all things considered, and it's better than a stock 780M in many instances.

I have finally moved to a desktop. Also my guides are outdated as hell.
