Why am I a fool for taking out a sound card that Im not using?

My dad is telling me that im working against my self and that its a foolish idea to take out a sound card that im not using because I have a usb headset.

Sounds pretty stupid to me.  It literally has 0 use with a usb headset.

 

Unless you have it hooked up to speakers.  But you could probably hook that up to your mobo anyways.

i'm guessing you are talking about a pci/pci-e sound card, which is a really good spare part to keep on hand. if you dont use it, might as well take it out and keep it (in an antistatic bag!) in case someone in your surroundings needs it.
