i currently have been Overclocking my older pc. I have a i7 930 overclocked to 4.0 ghz. 12 gb ram and a Gtx 460. Playing at 1080p.

I lunched crysis 2 on extreme settings. I think it's the 3rd out of 4th best settings. And it averages just above 30 fps. I know my video card needs upgrading to at least the 960. Does this fps sound right even though I am running

At 4.0? Thanks

your CPU clock speed will barely effect crysis, the GPU is the weak point

Seems about right.

I wouldn't recommend the GTX 960 thought :o

but i thought buying a 4690k was the best thing for gaming ever? and fixes all problems and everyone is bottlenecking without one?

 

 

 

 

(yeah you're gpu limited, turn it down to high, and check msi afterburner and make sure its pinned at 99% if its not and the graph goes up and down like mad you have some other issue like ram or HDD, wierd but ive seen it)
