What was the last movie you watched and would you recommend it to others?

The Others (2001) - 9.5/10

Great movie, supposed to be horror, but it is really just a creepy movie that has a very nice ending and feel throughout.

Jurassic World - 7.5/10

The Acting of the kids annoys me, as the directors try to understand a "modern" kid, but other than that the movie has pretty good action scenes, a very good set.

The bad is Samsung payed way to much to get their name on every single thing there. It was like CES with dinosaurs.

Very good film and is a decent showing of acting, though Arnold does not really do anything acting wise, he is the backbone to the story.

Not your typical zombie film at all.

8/10 would watch again.

Jurassic World - 8.5/10

Overall I enjoyed the movie.

There was a few scenes in it with what I assume was supposed to be humour however it was so forced it genuinely did make me cringe and I couldn't accept that they went for a PG-13/12 rating as the movie would have really benefited from being a 15 with more gore in it, I mean seriously, everytime a dinosaur ate someone they either panned the camera away or obfuscated it behind something with just a blood splatter on the wall/glass which really detracted from the experience for me.

With that said I'm glad I watched it and I actually liked the storyline. It was pretty well thought out, the sets were incredible and I didn't even mind the child actors whom I'd been told were just hideous.

The premise of the story was over exaggerated (I mean a 50ft tall dinosaur which can regulate its thermal output so efficiently it can totally dissapear from thermal imaging cameras?) but I didn't even mind that as the special effects used to create the dinosaurs in the first place were just spectacular. It was honestly the first time I've watched a green screen movie without being able to look at the added effects and instantly be able to tell they were fake.

I called the ending within 20 mins of the film starting, its glaringly obvious whats going to kill the dino.

It is a very good family adventure movie which I'd recommend to anyone with older kids/teenagers looking for a fun 2 hours.

Also expect a sequel.
