Yes it is, but since it is a older chipset (Z87 instead of Z97) it possibly will need a BIOS update

I recommend getting a Z97 board to avoid any incompatibility problems

it's a poor motherboard anyways...pick something else on Z97 chipset.

i would suggest this one it's dirt cheap right now for what it is:

alright, and do you need to be able to run dual graphics cards in the future or is it not something you need?
