You could buy a 4k gaming room with 4 4k gaming PCs with that budget.

Did I say 4? I meant 10.

30k on a computer is just stupid...

Also, wait for AMD's R9 380x/390x to go 4k (TBR around June 2015~).

I'd probably use this as a display if that was my budget.

Actually I'd rebuild my living room to be a home theatre with this. I'd have a bunch of comfy chairs fitted, probably redo the sound system.

And at some point I'd throw a PC in there...

Fuck it, get four of them. COMMISSION AMD to release it sooner, because MONEY IS NO OBJECT APPARENTLY

This is idiotic. Spend $10,000 and have the most killer rig you'll ever need, and can upgrade later on.

Trust me here: JUST because you have money does NOT mean you have to spend it, in fact it's beyond foolish to do so.

You could go 6 Way SLI 750ti and a fx-6300 and a 69 watt power supply

But can it run Animal Crossing?

To OP, just get a build with like... 3 980's a i7 5960X (or something.. can't remember fully..) 16 or 32 GB of DDR4..

I dunno..

Oh Lordy. I will probably go with a 5690k extreme whatever's, then wait for the AMD r9 395k, and get 3 of them. At least 16 Gigs. Throw a custom loop in there , and add LEDs. You aren't going to spend 30k on one build, save up the rest for future builds.

Still want to blow money? You want an amazing system? Go to my profile and get the one I have. Swap out the quadros for 4x GTX 980s and you'll still be under $10,000.

Now still isn't the time to go 4k. You're much better off waiting for 4k monitors to drop in price and the launch of AMD's R9 300 series. As for the rest of the system (without GPUs/Monitors):

(and losing the alien theme as it's beyond tacky, but whatever)

Motherboard: MSI Z97S SLI Krait Edition ATX LGA1150 Motherboard  ($109.99 @ Amazon)
Memory: Kingston Beast 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-2133 Memory  ($78.74 @ Amazon)
Storage: OCZ ARC 100 240GB 2.5" Solid State Drive  ($89.99 @ Amazon)
Case: NZXT S340 (Black) ATX Mid Tower Case  ($62.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Power Supply: EVGA 850W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply  ($123.99 @ SuperBiiz)

4k will become cheaper than 1440p (and/or will drive 1440p prices down with it). One of the reasons 1440p is still so expensive is because it's produced in very limited quantities.

Also, (comparable) 1440p panels are still about $100+ cheaper than a 4k panel.

Ayy lmao, we have 30K to blow, WHY THE HECK NOT?!

Don't forget to buy some Turtle Beach headsets, just for the stickers you get with them. You are gonna need those!

Ok heres the thing. Spending a lot of money on a PC will only get you diminishing returns. Get yourself a decent ~2000$ PC (maybe wait for the new AMD GPU's and see how they perform) and upgrade it when the need arises.

By your willingness to blow 30k on a PC i'm assuming you're the kind of guy who could blow through all that money in less than a year. Please DON'T! Get a financial advisor and ask him how you can invest your money safely with a steady return.

You'll need to find the LED by yourself. Since you'll be doing that, find a mouse/keyboard you like.

A 30K PC won't even be a whole lot better than a 2K PC.

Just because you are spending money on unnecessary stuff (like a 4th GPU, 32GB extra RAM.. Stuff like that)

I fully agree with you, get a good 2K PC with some room for upgrade ability and maybe some nice panels :)
