bughtoo
Go to solution Solved by W-L,

Yes yo uare right i will do that the only problem is they are not only on the bottom of the case but also at the drive 5.25 drive bays and i dont think i will be able to get a drill inside the case :)

If you have a small dremel you could grind off the head of the rivet to pop off it off.

Hello,

i am an owned of CM HAF X 942 case which is awesome, the only thing i noticed when i wanted to do my watercooling was that the drive cage is bolted

to the case with metal bolts. They cannot be unscrewed and i wont know how to remove it.

Thus goes my quesiton, any ideas how to remove it? Just take a saw and f***ing cut it out? I hope not.

Any suggestions?

thanks

They are riveted into place, take an 1/8" drill bit and drill out those rivets just be sure to clean away those shavings very well before reinstalling your system.
