Linus' Video Times

I've recently noticed that the LinusTechTips account tends to release videos around 12AM PST. While I honestly don't mind personally (since I stalk search through his channel every day), it means that his video tends to get shoved out of an average users subscription feed before they even wake up!

 

According to YouTube statistics, the best times to release videos (in PST) are 10AM, 12PM, and 4PM. Not only would it make it easier for your subscribers to find your videos first, but it would also likely increase view count!

 

TL;DR Schedule videos to release at 10AM, 12PM, or 4PM PST to increase viewership and make it easier for your subscribers.

I mean, does it matter whether it's released when i'm asleep? I don't need to watch it the second it comes out, either way it's going to be there when i wake up and decide to watch it.

Better to do it early in the morning in the event there's issues with YouTube. Europeans are waking up around then, and I do know of many people who watch a video or two in the morning from their subscription feed.
