iPad Mini 2 32GB value?

Go to solution Solved by Ryou-kun,

I thought I checked, but I guess I didn't see the response.

Anyways, from the pictures it looks new and very little use. It is the mini 2 and not the 3  and is 32gb so it is $350 new. I'd value it at around $275-$300. Just wanting to make sure I am not way off here.

There is NO difference between iPad Mini 2 and 3 other than iPad Mini 3 has touchID and iPad Mini 3 has 16GB, 64GB and 128GB while iPad Mini 2 has 16GB, 32GB, 64GB and 128GB if I believe it is correct.

Anyway, I agree your value. For $350, I think it is a bit too much for iPad Mini 2 like new condition.

Maybe you can try Apple Outlet? You can get iPad Mini 2 32GB used for $299 at Apple Outlet.

I wouldn't pay more than $200 for a heavily used, maybe $250 (on a lightly used one) or $300 for used it twice type thing assuming it is only the Wi Fi one. Considering they are $400 new, and they last generation already.   But really depends on what would want to pay and what the seller wants. Apple stuff tends to be inflated on the used market IMO.

They are handy little machines, especially if you are already a IOS user.

I am looking to buy an ipad mini 2 32gb, and was wondering what it be worth to pay? It is used, but is in like new condition.

Hmm, I am looking at Amazon, and it is $400 dollar for a 32GB which IMO it isn't worth it yet.

Maybe $250? If you can find used like new condition under $300 dollar for 32GB, then I guess it is worth it?

It really depend on what you will be using it for though.

It is better to wait for Fall for probably a next iPad Mini 4 or when it is on sales.

Thanks! And I actually can get the ipad at $300 (or $300 in trade value). And from what I see, apple products don't lose that much value over time. So even if after a year of use I don't want it I don't think selling it for $200 or so would be that difficult. (1 year of use would be worth the $100 loss IMO). Thanks!

No problem.

If you would like, you can wait for maybe Senior Graduation deals... If Apple would ever do that...

Or later this Fall for new rumor iPads or possibly Black Friday and/or Christmas sales.

Either way, I am sure you will enjoy it.

I actually cannot wait, as the items I am trading need to be gone by the end of this month. Thanks though!

I am surprise you didn't thought about the Apple Outlet/Refurbish or you never knew about it.

I am curious about something.

What do you plan to use the iPad Mini 2 for?

Out of other Android tablets/Windows tablets, why go after iPad Mini 2?

I mean, I own iPad Air, so I am not trying to be a hater or anything just that I thought Android/Window tablet might have an edge over iPad Mini 2.

I am trading to get the iPad, couldn't really afford to spend cash on it.

When I owned the nexus 7, I found myself off of my computer more and it felt great. I could red books, browse LTT forums, watch videos without sitting at my comp. Sold it because I didn't like android (I don't know why, but I like iOS better). iPad seems like a perfect fit mainly because I like the form factor, and I am invested in iOS as I have an iPhone and Macbook.

Ah, I see.

It makes sense.

I own iPad Air for handwritten note taking by using Adonit Jot Touch and GoodNotes, although, iPad Air isn't designed for it and I am at a complete mercy of the developer to make sure the apps work with my stylus. It is definitely worth it because I adore GoodNotes regardless it has bugs or issues with my stylus.

Most important, I adore iPads battery life. For me, iPad seem to win in term of battery life. I am sure you know what I mean. Leave the fully charge iPad at sleep on your desk for a month or so, and it just lost like a percent or two of its battery life (99% or 98%).

Anyway, I hope you enjoy it.

Sadly, I only dislike iOS because it lacked of multitasking. Gotta double tap the home button to switch between recent app, and I can't put side by side app which it is what I was hoping when iOS 8 was going to be released.

I wish LTT has its own mobile app for both iOS and android. Could makes things a lot easier instead having to open a browser, lol.

Not only that, you will probably enjoy the Microsoft Outlook app on iOS if you haven't use it already.

It is definitely worth it on the iOS, lol.

Using it on my iPad atm, lol.

Thanks for the info, many of the points you have made are why an iPad seems like the best choice for me.
