Hey guys ,

I am planning to uograde my current pc - cause of my brother wanting to paly dying light  on it or skyrim, and also some 3d rendering - No OS needed

So I already have a case ( I might upgrade it also),

What I need,

1) CPU - I was thinking going with the G3528 pentium ( What do you guys think?)

2) A mobo ( thinking going with the asus VI gene since I need to OC and the gaming performances it offers

3) Ram - 8gb or 16?

As for the gpu I already have a 750ti msi gaming , wil it be able to handle games like the one's above?

My budget 200-300$

Your card is going to hinder your gaming a lot more than your CPU will. You'll want to look into a new GPU if you plan to play Dying Light..

i5-4440 and H81 motherboard for a little over $200, 8GB ram is fine for gaming but won't be pretty soon so just get 1x8GB stick for now.

I went to the pentium cause is cheaper should I get a cheaper mobo and get a more expensive gpu like?

At 1080p, you're going to need something as high up as a GTX 970 for Dying Light. That is, if you're looking at Ultra Settings. I'm not an Intel user, so I'll keep my nose out of that bit. (Not yet, at least! c:)

Well for the same price as the G3258 and that expensive motherboard you can get an i5 and cheap motherboard which will be much better in almost every game.

Also, motherboard has almost no impact on performance most of the time.

Is your $300 budget for CPU + Motherboard + Ram + GPU? Or just the first three?

I am looking to play dying light just on medium setting

Also I was thinking about amd kaveru gpu and link them to my 750 ti will I get more gpu performance?

The AMD's APU Dual Graphics mode does not support NVIDIA cards. :c

You can only do that with low end AMD GPU's and it's really just an overall bad option.

I'd recommend the i5-4440 + H81 + 8GB ram route since you already have the 750ti. It'll give you a great foundation for future graphics cards upgrades.

Okay, let me tell you something about dying light.
it is NOT optimized.

The 3258 is going to DIE. in FIRE.
Dont.

Dying light throws my 4790K into the 70% range.  The 750 Ti will play it at uber low @720P, and even then it will drop frames in intense spots.

You are going to want at LEAST i5-4440 + GTX 960.

Do not spend $300 on a mobo, just... dont.

Spoiler

I7 4790K @4.5 Ghz 1.294V

sorry OMG what an idiot :P

Well what can I do then?

The 750ti is a fairly decent GPU, Wi ould wait with upgrading it until you have tried dying light on it.

The Intel G3258 or a AMD FX 6300 is your best options for that rig.

The G3258 should fit with this http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-motherboard-h81mdplus You could also go with a H/Z97

And the FX 6300 would fit with this http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-motherboard-m5a78lmusb3

Dying light is never going to be optimized. You expected something proper from developers? Come on. With each patch it gets worse.

Becouse the best way of finding bugs is to let thousands of people find them.

And when there are thoussands of differend rigs running the game, they will have it easier to optimize the game after what the people use.

If I where you, pick up a i5 as a pentium/celeron would DIE in that game and probably won't do to good in 3d work. And don't spend masses of money on a mobo. Pick up a H97 and grab a i5 4440 and 8gigs of ram

It Won't Fail Cause of Me.
