Ethernet driver

Go to solution Solved by Enderman,

An Asus sabertooth z97 mark 2

there should be a disk that came with your motherboard with all your drivers on it

install all of that and it will work

So I built my pc today and when I pluged in the Ethernet cable nothing happened, it wouldn't connect to the Internet. I'm pretty sure it's because I don't have an Ethernet driver but my problem is I don't know which driver to download. All I've been able to figure out is I think the manufacturer is Intel.

Download the driver from your motherboard manufacturers page for your motherboard on their website, copy it to a flash drive, move it to your new computer and install the driver.

Two options

Install internet driver from the driver DVD included with your motherboard.

OR

1. Go to http://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/SABERTOOTH_Z97_MARK_2/HelpDesk_Download/from another computer

2. Select your OS

3. Select Lan

4. Download the Intel® Gigabit Ethernet Driver

5. Put that on a flash drive and install it from there
