  • Asus ATI 5870v2 - Swapped out for Asus GTX 680 Direct CUII TOP

3x 2GB Corsair XMS3 Ram sticks 8,8,8,24 @ 1600 - Swapped out for 24GB of Corsair Vengeance LP & LV Ram.

Razer Blackwidow Ultimate (2012 version) - Keys were dying/unresponsive after not using for a couple hours. Replaced with Ducky 9087 G2 Pro LE (MX Brown & Clear) LOVE the MX Clears.

Razer Scarab - The hard mat started peeling from the bottom centre of the mousepad. Replaced with Antec's "P280" soft mouse pad (that doesn't exist in their product line) that I won at Computex 2013!

Razer Vespuela - Started bubbling beneath plastic surface on both sides, control surface started peeling. Was replaced by the Scarab

Steelseries 7H - Too tight/crappy mic.

Some 19" 800x600 Sony monitor - lol

NVIDIA 3d Glasses - I ended up using my 27" 120hz monitor as a secondary cause the colours were terrible. Using a 27" IPS screen right now

I've considered what others have said about my enormous amount of spare equipment. Firstly, I sold a bunch of my Corsair Vengeance RAM to a colleague for $40 USD. Secondly, I was able to get a BitFenix Shinobi (black w/ solid side panel) for $5.02 with an insane employee discount at Micro Center, so I brought one of those home and filled it with the following components:

  • Intel Core i7-2600K
  • Xigmatek Dark Knight II SD1283 Night Hawk Edition w/ dual Corsair SP120 PWM Performance Edition fans in push/pull
  • ASUS Sabertooth P67
  • 8GB (2 x 4GB) Corsair Vengeance 1866
  • EVGA GeForce GTX 650 Ti BOOST SuperClocked
  • ASUS Xonar DS
  • 2 x Seagate Barracuda 320GB
  • Sony DVD burner w/ LightScribe

The only thing remaining before I can hand this Frankenstein PC over to the wife is to get a decent power supply unit like a Corsair CX500M since the two spare power supplies I have are both Antec's proprietary CPX form factor that won't fit into the Shinobi or any non-Antec non-full tower.

Intel Core i7-5930K | Noctua NH-D15S | ASUS X99-M WS | 32GB (4 x 8GB) G.Skill Ripjaws V 2666MHz | MSI GeForce GTX 980 Ti Gaming 6G | Samsung 850 Pro 512GB | Seasonic 660XP2 | Phanteks Enthoo EVOLV

LG 34UM95-P w/ Ergotron MX  | O2/ODAC | Audioengine A5+ w/ AS8 | Sennheiser HD 598 | Ducky Shine 3 | Cooler Master Storm Spawn

It would be cool if they had a section on the forum where if you had enough points and posts, you could post in a for sale section on the form.

Space Journal #1: So Apparently i  was dropped on the moon like i'm a mars rover, in a matter of hours i have found the transformers on the dark side of the moon. Turns out its not that dark since dem robots are filled with lights, i waved hi to the Russians on the space station, turns out all those stories about space finding humans instead of the other way around is true(soviet Russia joke). They threw me some Heineken beer and I've been sitting staring at the people of this forum and earth since.
