I don't have much to say as I haven't used a Surface....but, I will say, I don't know a single person with Windows RT that hasn't bitched about it constantly.

Hello guys ,

I was looking to buy a tablet and I fall into a deal ( Microsoft surface for 195 euros ) - Is it worth it?

Also does the win store has many games ?

Is there any alternatie of the google paly store?

It's not a good deal. While it may be pne of the only tablets to natively support multitasking, Windows RT just isn't that great. The included Office isn't for the Modern UI except for OneNote, application support isn't that great, and it can't run Win32 programs. Also the WIndows Store doesn't have a lot of games and there is no alternative. You're better off with an Android tablet.

Refurbished Galaxy Note 8 can be had for $170~ -- assuming you want a tablet with a stylus for note taking. Otherwise there are the Samsung Tabs and/or iPads, Nvidia shield.

The Nvidia Shield Tablet is close at 239, and has much better hardware, higher resolution screen, front-facing speakers, better camera, and is running Android 5.0.

I have tried to use the Surface RT.  Hated it every time.  There are not enough apps and it is just too limited.   You feel like you should be able to do things that you can't   Hell you can't even install Chrome on the thing.  I returned mine within a few days.   Now I have a Surface Pro and much prefer it.  ALthough even it doesn't get as much use as my Macbook air or iPad.   I would suggest sticking with a Tab at that price point.

Tell my tale to those who ask. Tell it truly; the ill deeds along with the good, and let me be judged accordingly.

Windows RT is not worth it. If you want something in that price range you can go with the ASUS Transformer Book line. EIther their existing line up or wait for the Core M line up. I think they're around that price, running either Bay Trail Atom processor or Broadwell Core-M processor. But runs full Windows 8.1 which can be upgrade to 10 when that comes out.

Better bang for the buck. Windows RT is dead.
