I recently sold my MSI Twin Frozer 3 gtx 660 2 gb card on ebay after upgrading to a gtx 770.  I had never had a problem with my card.  The buyer of the card after about a week messaged me saying the he was getting crashes with the card when playing games.  He thinks it might be a memory issue because when he under clocked the memory, he said the crashes were less frequent.  He also said that he has no problems until the driver crashes (he has tried different drivers). His systems and PSU are plenty good for this card and he never gets artifacts or overheating issues.  Any thoughts on what the problem is because I don't really want to refund him because money is tight and it is a huge hassle.

Thanks in advance!

Tell him to record a video of the problem happening. If it is actually happening, do you still have a manufacturer warranty on the card?

if you put no refunds on eBay, and it was fine when its shipped he doesnt really have a case. he could go through paypal, but if you've proof that he said it was fine for a week or so then you could claim it was user damaged.

According to tracking it arrived to him a week ago but he didn't say that the problem is new.  He probably was testing different things during the week.  Paypal is also really annoying to deal with as the seller.

yeah you've basically got no comeback.

PayPal will vote in his favor and force you to refund.

you never know it could be something else in his rig.. when you get it back test it if it works re sell it, if it doesn't then it's just one of those shitters in life.
