INtel, becaus the i5 will destroy the fx 6300. overclock the r9 270 and it performs like a 270x

If you had 600$ to spent on a budget gaming pc and wanted the "best bang for your buck", which would you pick? Or would you go with a whole new build all together?

I would pick the intel build, because:

It's cheaper.

The fx 6300 build doesn't have a non cpu cooler.

Since you didn't mention what you will do with your computer other than gaming, the intel side is instantly better.

i updated the links, for some reason the sapphire card wasnt showing in the price.

The only problem i have is figuring out if the r9 270 will actually fit in the case.

If you aren't going to oc then you might as well get intel.

Since you lose out on potential power (and I don't like cpu's who are 70+ degrees celsius who aren't even oc'd).

The only problem i have is figuring out if the r9 270 will actually fit in the case.

As a backup case keep the corsair carbide 200r in mind.

It worked for my 280x and doesn't cost much.

As the others have said, Intel. Cheaper and would be WAY better than the AMD.
