here is my pc build. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/fDhcFT. I was wondering if my 120gb ssd will be able to hold my OS BF4 and Far Cry 4 or should i take out my hdd and use that money to get a bigger ssd?

Take out the HDD for now, and get a bigger SSD. You can usually find a 256GB for around 100-130.

I agree with @deVIZtation, grab a bigger SSD. You can always grab a new HDD later on when you've saved up again. HDD's are getting cheaper and cheaper these days--the same can be said for SSDs.

Both need 30GB of disk space. Why would you install those games on an SSD though? I mean 128GB for all your programs then HDD for games.

That's what I thought too. But I guess the OP (@megaman) wants lighting fast load times for those games. I myself have my games on a HDD and OS (and some programs) on an SSD.

OP, you can also go the route I took. OS and programs on the SSD, and your games on the HDD.

In my opinion a cache would be easier. Just make sure to set the SATA controller to RAID before you install Windows if you go this route.

The 128 SSD is fine, if you think your games are slow, well heres a trick.

On a SSD for me a Titanfall match loads in 5 seconds. On a HDD it loaded in 20ish seconds. Now the HDD ram cache it loads in about 7 seconds. Try it!

120gb is not enough for those 3 games, BF4 with all Dlcs is 57gb alone.

if u know u can get some extra cash soon then go for 256gb ssd and get the HDD later, if not then u will end up with BF4 and ur OS only on ur 120gb ssd.

BF4 loads way faster on a SSD, sometimes from 2-10mins to 10-30 sec.

Just sharpen your pencil. There are a lot of sales on right now and you should be able to keep the hdd and still get a 256gb without going overboard. Will $10-20 more kill the build?

Hey megaman and welcome to Linus Tech Tips forum :)

First of all, good job on the build. I would add a custom CPU Cooler in order to overclock that CPU.

Regarding the storage space, SSDs require at least 12%-15% free space of their total space in order to operate at an optimal speed. Your OS would require around 30GB-35GB. Having that in mind, you are left with about 75GB for your programs and games. BF4 requires 30GB and Far Cry 4 needs another 30GB so you should be fine.
