any one know what the malware was that was uploaded to the forum? got a report from google telling me the site was bugged and it was shut down when i went past it (yes it was stupid to ignore that warning, i know) So,  what happened? anyone know?

It was a JS injection. There's a thread Slick made under the news and info deal.

There are plenty of posts about this, but TL;DR something went wrong and there was two suspicious links. LTT deleted them and flushed the notifications, then reported the flag the website got. With the hours everyone stopped receiving the warnings. Maybe clearing cache in your browser could fix it (I would just wait).
