hello was wondering if my processor is restricting the GPU's i recently just purchased a second R9 280x to crossfire and noticed a little bit performance difference out of it crossfireing it but still think my processor might be holding me back.   Here are my spec's 

 

A10 -6800k OC 4.8 on H100i 

16gb 1866 ram

MSI FM2+ G45 Gaming Edition 

2 x MSI R9 280x GPU's 

1000w evga psu

the A10 can support one GPU

 

with two GPU

 

the CPU side will struggle

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

well looks like a big upgrade then sence i would have to change mobo and cpu out then bummer 

if not run with just one GPU for now until you get a new CPU and mobo

You're gonna want at least an i5-4590 for those... since you already have an AIO cooler I'd recommend an OC-able chip and board.
