Hi there @tharrison14!

You can use the standard steps on initializing the hard drive. Here's an article from our KB how to do so:

Hope this helps.

Cheers!   :)

Hello internets,

So I installed my very first ever HDD earlier today. Up until now I have been using an SSD as my boot drive. However, I am assuming that the SSD was formatted during the OS installation, as my new HDD seems to have no partitions or anything, and as such comes up in the BIOS and the Device Manager, but nowhere else. My question is (a rookie one, I know, forgive me) can I simply format and create my own partition in the Hard drive manager, or is there some tool I have to use from WD?
