Last time I heard about the Nexus 5, I think it was not being manufactured anymore, but I may be completely wrong.

They said they were going to continue selling it through Q1 of 2015

Hmm, then I would suggest refreshing the page like on Wednesday, because I think that day is when they restock, or that may be for the Nexus 6, I'm not sure.

I'd just say look at sellers like Amazon or EBay, neither necessarily mean second hand, although a few years back I picked up a good deal on a GNex from the Amazon warehouse. It's an old phone, and old phones don't get made anymore
