Classic Car stuff anyone?

SharpY

I just walked out to my garage and thought "Hey I wonder if any of the tons of people on LTT forums like classic cars!"

I have a 1963 Cadillac Convertible that I have been working on for sometime now, and I just can't wait until It's done!

What it will look like finished: HERE!!!!! but with a black convertible top.

Anyone else have a classic car, restoration project, or even just like classic cars and talking about them?

I don't currently have any classics, but I'm a big fan of the old Z cars. Currently shopping around for a 240Z as a potential restauration project, but they are hard to find... especially the ones that haven't been eaten by rust yet.

It would be my dream for the end result to look like this:

oh and I'd love a V8 swap.

Classic cars are alright with me (and Brian Johnson).

Both some mighty fine looking Vessels.

I wish I could afford to have multiple classic cars. Pictures just don't do the justice of how they actually look, lol.

I have pictures I JUST took of my caddy if anyone's interested.. It's kinda beat up looking, plenty of surface rust that I need to finish sanding, and all the chrome being off since it was stored.

^ I'm the only one I know that sees it's potential lol.

I'm in love with e30s. These are still kinda popular in Lithuania atleast. I hope we can call e30 classics now, lol. They aren't rare, but I really like them.

Do these count as classics? (first units were built ca. 1953)

I get to ride one almost every day...

and we used to own something like this: (first units from ca. 1953)

(but with an engine pulled out from a 1980 toyota corolla)

I'd consider an e30 a classic by now, maybe not quite a "Classic car" but still a classic.. kinda a grey area lol.

Not a classic car so to say, but it's my favourite and it's designed on early cars.
