Allthough i don't like recommending AMD CPUs i think a FX 6300 would be the better choice here. It allows you to play games like Far Cry 4 and AC Unity, which don't start under 2 physical cores.

It would also save you a bit of moeny which i would all put into the graphics card. a R9 270 would be good for that price point.

Edit: this is of course just price/performance wise for 500 dollars. if you want to upgrade your system later down the road, Intel would be the better option.

who cares...

I think there are ways to bypass the core requirement BS of those games though

I mean, the i3 is superior to the 6300, so why not?

why is that?

I have seen other ~500 dollar build with R9 270s in them.

Actually looking at some prices, the R9 270 starts at prices around 130 dollars, so you might want to invest that little extra into a R9 270

edit: sapphire is a good, reputible brand for AMD cards, here you go: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/sapphire-video-card-100365l

edi2: you'll need a different power supply however, since the CX430 only has one 8 pin VGA connector, the r9 270 needs two 6 pins.

who cares...

I could not do much better.  I would drop you 1TB hard drive to the one in my build, and up the GPU in your build to a 270.  The thermaltake case will be easier to work in too.

ok i see a lot of mistakes in that build, first of the hard disk is only 320GB?? to game properly u need minimum a 1tb hdd, because the games coming out nowadays take up lots of space (example gta v).second of, in that amazon list the hard disk aint there thats why its is 490$. third i had said i need the price to be sharp 500$ or less. im not saying that your pc selection very bad but it cant be used with that amount of space to game that good.

Yes you can.  I run a 240GB SSD.

If you don't like my build, fine.  But your 4150 and the H81 are likely to be incompatible.

im gonna use an asus mobo so i just gotta go to bios by hitting delete while booting, then go to advanced settings, go to tools, and select asus ez update tool. with that u can update the bios without having to actually boot into the os. but the update file should be on a usb stick. i have plenty of those.

You NEED a CPU to get in the bios.
