1.65V RAM on Haswell

Hello,

Was just wondering is 1.65V on the ram much for Haswell? I remember hearing something about ram voltage sometime ago but i cant really remember.

Memory that ive in mind is the Kingston HyperX Beast 2133MHz 2x8GB running at 1.6V

If you really want fast RAM running at 1.65V it should work with Ivy Bridge and Sandy Bridge just fine. Intel recommends 1.5V with some margin upwards. However from what I see 1.65V runs fine. The argument of not running 1.65V RAM is that the performance gained isn't applicable to real world applications.

Current build: Antec P180, Asus P8Z68 Pro, Intel i5-2500k, Asus GTX 570 2GB, Patriot 16GB 1600MHz, Corsair HX 650W.
