Great 750W for anybody on a tight budget, I know it's not top of the line but for 40 bucks you'd have a tough time beating the value.

IF you're on a tight budget there is no system you can build that needs 750W

But if it's cheaper than lower wattage PSU's, I don't see why not.

Because wattage isn't everything, quality is also a massive factor

Ugh. If it was modular, I would be all over this. I really hate that I didnt spend the extra $15-20 on a modular power supply when I first built. My entire back of mobo tray looks like SHIT because of it. I am looking for a good deal on a full or semi-modular PSU in the 550-650W range just to replace it.

At 40 dollars you're not likely to find a higher quality PSU anyways, the extra wattage is just a bonus in case you want to expand later on.

That's a 60 dollar PSU on sale atm for 53, that's 33% higher in cost, not "about the same price"

It'll last longer anyway when you're using a higher wattage PSU than you would of a lesser one because of that actual percentage of work you're putting on it. 

 

350 watt load

 

750W PSU = 47% load

500W PSU = 70% load

 

Don't argue on a good deal.

My only problem is that it is refurbished. I have had bad dealings with refurbished items before. Real bad.
