looking for a sleeving kit to do sleeving for the first time I just can't stand the ones it comes with

Are all you need to sleeve really. That and some masking tape to get the paracord over the pins, as well as a pair of scissors or snips. 

 

You can use heatshrink if you want, but it's not necessary. Take a look at Lutro0 customs' Youtube channel for some good guides.
