hi, im using 2x2gb ddr3 1600 gskill ripjawz..

i was wondering if OCing them to higher clocks would actually benefit me..

i've been tinkering the bios for some time and i think it's just a matter of selecting higher frequency that will do it..im just unsure of what will happen.lol

thanks

for Intel system

the gains from OC RAM is hardly noticable

maybe only 1fps gains

maybe for AMD APUs

every MHz gain counts

Just don't even bother, it's not worth it. Adjusting RAM timings and frequency ends up messing with other components and causing more problems and giving next to no benefit in general/gaming pc performance

I overclocked my RAM to 2133mhz from 1600mhz and it feels better. Probably just a placebo effect.
