Need help deciding on a college laptop

Hello i am looking for a college laptop that will mostly be uses for school work but will also be used for gaming when i go home. The game i will mainly play is wow and i have a budget of around 500$ Usd. So far i have found these two which are the main ones i am thinking about. If anyone has any advice or suggestions it would be greatly appreciated

This one is pretty good for the price. And 14" is a little more portable.
