simple build

wolfgang

My friend is looking to get a new computer around $500 us.

It is ment for basic use and occasional video editing. Not gaming.

Here are his requirements that he set for me. 4gb RAM minimum, 500 storage, quad core process would be nice but a decent dual core is ok. I don't care too much about a gaming video card but wouldbt be opposed to an ok one. I don't do PC gaming. Mainly just basic PC use, internet, video editing.

This is what i came up with in a short time so i am looking for anything i may have missed or changes that could be made for improvements that dont add much cost.

Looks nice. Solid build for what they're gonna be using it for. Although I would put in a Hyper 212 Evo for quieter operation.

That's a fine build. You could upgrade to an R7 260X when he wants to game on it.

In this situation I would go with a FX 8 core, because of the extra cores.

But, I dont have much experaince on editing so eh
