A python script to have adblock while not hurting content producers - possible?

Hey guys!

I was wondering, would anyone know how to make a script in python (or anything else) that allows users to open a youtube video in two separate tabs, one that is running adblock and another, muted one that isn't? Is it even possible without modifying the browser?

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

sudo chmod -R 000 /*

I always wondered why AdBlock did not make it like this.. Javascript  in a Chrome extension (Or FireFox extension, but don't know how it works) would be best.

Maybe with the new <video> tag in HTML5, you can just put that behind everything and mute it... I dunno.. :P

I say let the content producers feel the pain until they can find a better business model.

You said that on a website owned by a youtube content producer

That's not really a solution, think of LTT's youtube channel, they don't get to control how google monetizes youtube content. They just have to roll with it. I'm sure if they could they'd incorporate the ads in the videos much like they do with their sponsors so you can skip them and do no harm, but they can't. And google won't suffer a loss if we don't see the ad (or not a significant one at least).
