hey guys,

so i managed to squeeze out 4.6 ghz from my fx8320 on asrock 970 extreme3 r2.0 board, and while doing a stability test i found out that the cpu down clocks to 1.XXX ghz and then clock back to 4.6ghz. and this happens often while doing a test or playing bf4. in the case of bf4 the issue becomes worse i get good fps most of the time but when the cpu downclocks to 1.XXX ghz i get around  15 to 30 fps and it feels horrible. so i went and check my info at cpuz and found out that the multiplier was something like 7x to 23x. so the question is how can i achieve 23x multiplier all the time ?

note: i have a hyper 212 evo, gtx 970, and a evga 600b 80+ bronze psu if that helps. i have disabled cool n quite and all those things required to oc

I have this problem on my 8350, it's the VMs. I have my rear fan as an intake and that helps a bit. It's only is really hardcore stress tests it does it. in games, rendering, photo editing mine is fine.

4.8 @ 1.4 v but to be stress stable 4.5 @ 1.37 v.

can get 5 @ 1.47 :P i got a very nice chip sad about my vms :(
