Thanks for the help but i fixed it i have a SSD and a 1TB HDD all i did was plug the SATA 

cable in the 1th HDD and now its working!! :) THANKS FOR THE HELP im 

amazed at how fast people responded

Just got done building my first computer now im trying to install windows 8 but i cant I'll start to go through the steps and then i'm stopped at a compatibility report That says "The computer started using the windows installation media. Remove the installation media and restart your computer so that windows starts normally. Then, insert the installation media and restart the upgrade. (Do not select Custom (advanced) to perform an upgrade. Custom (advanced) Installs a new copy windows and deletes your programs and settings.)  PLEASE HELP!!!

Are you sure you got the system builder version of windows 8?
