I plan on building a gaming pc for GTA 5 (when it comes out for pc), Call of Duty, CS:GO, Assassins creed, etc.

I opted for an AMD-based pc since it seems like AMD processors have a lot better value.

CPU: AMD FX-6300

CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212

Mobo: ASUS M5A97 R2.0?? (Maybe)

RAM: Kingston Fury Black Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3

GPU: Sapphire Radeon R9 280X 3GB Tri-X V

SSD: Kingston SSDNow V300 Series 240GB 2.5"

HDD: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5"

PSU: EVGA 500W 80+ Certified ATX Power Supply

OD:Asus DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS DVD/CD Writer

I haven't decided on the case yet since they're so many options and a wide price range

Please leave any comments or suggestions! :)

The FX lineup is total crap for gaming. Give us your total budget (and currency) and we can make you a better build

RIG: I7-4790k @ 4.5GHz | MSI Z97S SLI Plus | 12GB Geil Dragon RAM 1333MHz | Gigabyte G1 Gaming GTX 970 (1550MHz core/7800MHz memory) @ +18mV(Maxed out at 1650/7800 so far) | Corsair RM750 | Samsung 840 EVO 120GB, 1TB Seagate Barracuda | Fractal Design Arc Midi R2 (Closed) | Sound Blaster Z                                                                                                                        Getting: Noctua NH-D15 | Possible 250GB Samsung 850 Evo                                                                                        Need a console killer that actually shits on every console? Here you go (No MIR/Promo)

This is why you should not get an FX CPU for ANY scenario other than rendering on a budget http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/286142-fx-8350-r9-290-psu-requirements/?p=3892901 http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/266481-an-issue-with-people-bashing-the-fx-cpus/?p=3620861

The only time to EVER get an FX CPU is For extremely Low End builds/ Massive Fanboyism.

Also can we get a total Budget/ Location? SO we can make the build better?

Just remember: Random people on the internet ALWAYS know more than professionals, when someone's lying, AND can predict the future.

i7 9700K (5.2Ghz @1.2V); MSI Z390 Gaming Edge AC; Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 16GB 3200 CAS 16; H100i RGB Platinum; Samsung 970 Evo 1TB; Samsung 850 Evo 500GB; WD Black 3 TB; Phanteks 350x; Corsair RM19750w.

Laptop: Dell XPS 15 4K 9750H GTX 1650 16GB Ram 256GB SSD

or a more powerful amd build

There is no such thing as a powerful AMD gaming build because the FX-lineup bottlenecks EVERY high-end card

bottleneck when he has well over 60 fps while streaming?

Having over 60 fps is not the same as not having a bottleneck. @Suika had his 8350 at 4.7GHz (Base clock of a 9590) and it was massively bottlenecking his GTX 780. An R9 290X > GTX 780 so that's an even bigger bottleneck

1-2 fps diffrence

You don't think the 8350 bottlenecks? lol get ready for a shitstorm because everybody else is about to tell you otherwise, especially me who's had both an FX-8350 and i7-4790k with a GTX 780.

Skyrim saw bottlenecks, the i7 still technically bottlenecks but the FPS in CPU intensive applications basically doubled going from the 8350 to the i7.

Metro: 2033 doesn't noticeably bottleneck but it does see some terrible low frame rates, which can easily break a gaming experience.

TF2 actually saw bottlenecks believe it or not, I was completely stunned to see just how CPU dependent it became with bots. When I tried to see CPU usage in TF2 a single core spiked to nearly 100% with 23 bots on a large map.

if you have to insist you think for yourself, i'm not going to believe you.
