About to build my Mini ITX system about time too! 
Specs are 
250D case.
GTX 970 EVGA super clocked. 
I5 4690K
8GB Vengeance RAM
H100i water cooler
Asus Z97I-PLUS
Corsair CXM 600W
120GB kingston V300 SSD
1TB WD black (Game storage)
250GB WD blue (Recording)
Nzxt fan hub. 

What do you guys think? ( I am hopping I did not undergo on the 600W PSU)

600w is enough for two 970's,

SLI is doable on a 600w psu, so certainly not underkill. 

 

The V300 wasn't the smartest decision though :unsure:

yea, so you got plenty of room to OC and get a more powerful CPU later on (im looking at you mini itx x99)

I realy want to know how much you can OC that CPU on this mobo :D

As far as the cpu will allow. The board plays very little role in how far a cpu will overclock (on Intel anyway).

This is not always true. My Asrock Z97M-itx/AC motherboard does not come with the options to touch Vrin or LLC, which can and does limit my OC abilties with this specific board. Upon talking to Asrock, they said it is a limitation of this boards VRM anyways, and that i should have gone with the Asrock Z97E-itx/AC if i had max OC's in mind.

 

That being said, i was still able to hit 4.2ghz without touching those specific settings,but anything higher required an absurd about of Vcore. Just thought i would share that information if someone else were to have similar issues that i have.
